Matt qualified as an Osteopath in 2010 and yoga teacher in 2011. The combination of these two practices has provided Matt with a strong foundation in the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Since then he has continued to study and incorporate many disciplines into his movement practice, ranging from acrobatics to climbing, meditation to Thai massage and has completed 200 and 500 hour Dharma LOAY certification. He believes in the importance of a deep exploration of the body and the mind via a range of disciplines.

Matt’s classes are heavily influenced by the physical vinyasa flow of Sri Dharma Mittra. Combining this flow with pranayama, static postures and inversions (where appropriate), classes are highly tailored, depending on the students in attendance. By challenging students and developing a practice of non-judgment, he believes it encourages a greater state of concentration that allows students to find a state of flow.
