It’s never too late to start Yoga!
I started my yoga practice in my forties to gain flexibility and discovered it gave me so much more. I hadn’t previously done any sport or dance so it was completely new to me but I was inspired by the dynamic practice of Dharma Yoga and rose to the challenge. As well as teaching me patience and how to view life through compassionate eyes it has helped cultivate both a physical well-being and calmness within my life.
I qualified as a 200hr yoga teacher practitioner in May 2017 and continue to find great happiness enriching the lives of others as well as my own through the art. Coming from a Japanese heritage I have also practiced Japanese Zen Buddhism and teach classes at the Zen Dojo in North London. Classes can be taught in English or Japanese and I have students of all ages who love the gentle exercise and light meditation that helps them relax.
