You don’t have to be young and flexible to do Yoga!

A friend of mine introduced me to Yoga Studio in my mid-forties. I had no sports or dance background before but I joined him thinking to gain some benefit for my physical well-being. 
Soon I was hooked. I joined various classes – Astanga, Jivamukti, Rocket, Iyengar, Yin etc and out of all those different styles of practice, I was drawn to Dharma Yoga in its dynamic and challenging practice, yet it gave something deeper in the Spiritual level, which was an essence of Sri Dharma’s teaching.
I took 200hr Teacher Training at Dharma Yoga Centre in NYC, thinking to deepen my yoga practice. Sitting close to Sri Dharma has changed my idea of yoga practice completely. It was a life-changing experience. Listening to his Spiritual Discourse, learning Pranayama techniques and practicing Asana Classes expanded the study of yoga not only physical level but even deeper in a spiritual level. I never looked back from this amazing experience.
From 200hrTT, I progressed my study and completed 1000hr certification in 2021. 
Through my internship, I discovered the joy of teaching. I work full-time but have managed to keep Community classes running for all those years.    
I am a Spiritual Healer ( Energy Healer), Spiritualist, Zen Buddhist ( Bodhisattva name Kenshin 愃心), and I am a survivor of SCAD ( very rare type of Heart attack called Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection in 2020). From the experience of deep bereavement during lockdown, and recovery from the health issue, my community class is very sympathetic and restorative. Through my community class, I hope to support mental and emotional well-being. Thanks to the online platform, I have been practising with Sri Dharma on a daily basis, and I hope to share his knowledge learned and shared with all who come into contact in my daily life off the mat not only on the mat. I very much look forward to serving you.  
 
My Community class is on every Sunday on Zoom.
Students are at all levels and enjoy Pranayama, gentle Asana and Yoga Nidra ( deep relaxation and healing ).
Starts at 10 am for 90 minutes.
