Every time you have a chance, go within and do your meditation.

See yourself in the practice you are not able to access right now. Imagine yourself in it.

If you could, keep watching your breathing all the time. As soon as you stop watching, it goes out of control.

Breathing prepares you for meditation. It calms the mind and improves concentration.

Samadhi is concentration very deep.

Alternate-nostril Breathing is the main breathing.

This is why you are doing the Bandhas – to force the energy (Kundalini) up.

Pain attracts your attention. Today, you take a pill. That’s why the healing takes longer. Attention attracts Prana, and then you get healed very quickly.

I like that Om symbol. You keep drawing that Om in darkness. You can get very detailed. I don’t see it: I am using imagination.

I like meditation without seed. You are aware of sound and thoughts come and go, but you don’t get involved with them. The Self is established in this now. You are here beyond time – you watch.

“Oh, I can’t meditate; I can’t stop thinking.” The mind is thinking. The Self is action-less. Who is full of doubts: the mind. You are like a computer. If you don’t know, add the software. Who gets enlightened: the mind. The Real, Real Self doesn’t need any enlightenment. “Oh, I am a woman.” You are not a woman, but the body is. Who doesn’t understand: the mind.

All religions have a big book that is a Kriya to purify the mind and heart.

There are impurities at all levels.

Watermelon is a very good purifier. If you don’t want to go through the watermelon, be careful what you eat.

Before you teach a Kriya to anyone else, you should do it yourself. Use your common sense and check it out.

If you see yourself everywhere, that is a sign of Self-realization.

When I first wake up in the morning, I spend a little while just sitting in that nothingness — in that void, and then the bliss comes.

This Infinite Being that’s everywhere, that’s us, too.

If you don’t want to do that (the pose just called), do whatever you want.

Some Yogis consider Pranayama to be the most important practice.

The entrance to Sushumna Nadi only opens when we are keeping the Ethical Rules.

Sexual energy is spiritual energy, just a little distorted.

When the Guru says practice (Uddiyana Bandha), you do it. It is not pleasant.

Bandhas are muscular contractions combined with your inner attitude.

Maha Mudra is to burn toxins in the body – it’s not pleasant.

If you are teaching, watch out! Do your personal stuff at home. Students today know many things, but knowledge is not realization.

Raising psychic forces (Kundalini) without keeping the Ethical Rules can be unsafe, like taking drugs.

Nadis carry information/intelligence like the wiring of a computer.

The Chakras control organs and glands near them.

Nadis are conduits of energy intelligence.

Consciousness moves between Chakras based on your deeds from the past. Until you arrive at Ajna Chakra, you are always moving between them.

Every time you are holding the breath, your attention should go here (Trikuti).

Intelligence itself can be perceived. That’s how you know you are not it.

Some knowledge brings some levels of bliss. Everything needs the Self.

Knowledge of God is impossible, because knowledge is already Maya (illusion).

Self-realization is the subtlest manifestation of consciousness.

The calmer you are, the more craving-free you are.

What is the Self inside? It’s the same as God. It doesn’t involve any enjoyment because there is no personal self there.

By realizing what you really are, that triggers the highest senses of perception.

Anandamayakosha is the one that’s touching God cheek to cheek.

These are the layers you need to negate constantly (the Koshas).

I know the Self is beyond the gods, but I still bow to them and respect them. Who is bowing: the lower mind and the senses.

Some mantras can wake up your latent psychic powers.

I like the mantras that are like devotional songs. The emotions turn into spirirtual bliss.

The mantra forces the mind to concentrate on one thing.

A Sannyasi uses most of his energy towards Self-realization.

The mind is desiring, not you.

Sometimes it’s intuition, sometimes it’s your personal thing.

The other self is your worst enemy.

Habits from the past cause you to do things you don’t want to do.

When you are self-controlled, you like yourself.

Remember, everybody passes through the same thing.

It’s the body and mind that pass through experience. Don’t lose your control. Yogis stand supreme whether dealing with something pleasant or unpleasant.

When you have fortitude, you stand supreme under any conditions.

It’s good to be like that. To sit on a wool blanket with charged beads around your neck feeling like you’re sitting in the lap of the Guru. The Self is happy from that, but I see no difference if you do that or just sit on the floor.

Sorrow belongs to the mind, the body and the personal self.

Be a witness of body and mind activities.

You need senses of perception to experience Samadhi.

Love is infinite.

In reality, everything is perfect.

When you have a little Self Knowledge, you are a king among men. This is very rare. The rest are all lost in duality, lost in their ego. I have many disciples that are still lost. They still don’t understand about higher things.

All actions have the perfect reaction.

Belief is not enough, you have to experience.

You have to go to the very edge again and again. That’s how eventually you go beyond.

You need to have angry determination.

The beauty of reincarnation is that you will meet your loved ones again next life. When you really love someone, you will be with them again.

Imagine nothing existed, no creation, no planet, no people, nothing. Just void. Now think about existing and have been given an ego to be here — isn’t that nice?

Repeat after me, three times, mentally: I will remain awakened.

(I love) days like this when I get to connect and share spiritual knowledge with hundreds of people and be part of their transformation.

See yourself in the practice you are not able to access right now. Imagine yourself in it.

Bless everything. You are a portion of God.

You become what you believe.

Be receptive to the grace of God.

Open your heart.

Bring your attention to your heart. Everything is within.

Share your spiritual knowledge. This is a highest form of charity.

Move the joints a little every day. You have to find your own tricks. Bury your mind deep in your heart and watch the body move by itself.

All the pain and suffering in all creation is for purification and realization comes according to purification.

If you open your heart and become like a child, you will always be blissful, always content.

Healthy body, healthy mind.

Always stay alert, radiating love and peace 24 hours a day, every day.

Yogis that take the search for freedom into the innermost part of their soul are called Sadhakas. Surrender to Isvara (the Supreme Self) is a certain path. Realize this power is already within — the Spiritual Sun already blazes within as the Innermost Self. Harmony between you and the Higher Self is the destination.

Do the practice because it has to be done.

Go within.

Who is full of doubts, suffering and depressed? It’s the body and mind passing through the effects from your previous deeds. Pass through this suffering gracefully and try never to complain.

Life without yoga: suffering is suffering. Life with yoga: suffering is a gateway to lead one to realize the Self more and to shift the consciousness to a higher level so that we know we are just an observer to our mind and body. Enjoy everything from this body and this mind, but do not attach to it.

Stay truthful and blissful.

Be Receptive.

If you open your heart and become like a child, you will always be blissful, always content.

You have to have strong desire for liberation.

Everything is perfect. Nothing is permanent.

Reduce your wants and lead a happy and contented life. Never hurt the feelings of others and be kind to all. Think of God as soon as you get up and when you go to bed.

What makes us happy: our accomplishments.

Imagine yourself in the practice that you are not able to access just now. Eventually, the body will obey…and see yourself in all beings and all beings in yourself…

Success in yoga means Self-realization, or the ability with yoga techniques to settle the mind into silence. And then when the mind is settled into silence, the mind automatically has this Samadhi. The mind is free from all the doubts; all doubts whatsoever. The mind comes into the state of bliss. In other words, no personal self. When you remove all the doubts, you keep Yama, Niyama and you are able to overcome sex because all the obstacles are removed. You have no doubts disturbing you, no craving for food, you have discipline, no attachment that disturbs you, and then the mind is staying in silence for a long time, no more doubts left. That’s the goal, the success.

Bury your mind deep in your heart and watch the body move by itself.

All these fancy poses have nothing to do with enlightenment.

Part of coping with difficulties is to establish good habits so that, no matter what, you can do what has to be done.

Visualize yourself doing it. If you believe you are full of doubt, then you will be filled with doubt.

Yoga truly means to be respectful and compassionate to all living beings and to be free from all sorrow. Who wouldn’t want that?

Purify your heart and lose your ego.

You become what you believe.

The secret it this: don’t set too many goals at one time.

The greatest of all impurities is ignorance of your own True Self.

Embody the consciousness of a warrior (when doing Warrior Pose).

No Watch-asana! You could die tonight, and then what? You never even tried.

Because you cannot explain God-related things, you cannot explain things beyond the grasp of the mind.  But if you know how to copy, you’ll be able to grasp the understanding of other things.

Belief is not enough. You have to experience.

Real Yogis love the absence of activities.

I like the Ashtanga – the eight steps of yoga. Patanjali described it in the Yoga Sutras. Very simple, very efficient.

You have to be calm enough; self-controlled.

Without the Yamas, known as the ethical rules, there is no success in yoga.

First you get knowledge, and then you have to reflect upon it.

My main subject is to learn about to be vegan, and today I spend all my time — most of my time, to make people vegan. That is the food of the future: vegan!

Eat light. Avoid cooked food too much.

All living beings fear violence.

Be compassionate and surrender your ego. Be always content, a happy soul, and surrender to your own Self.

Can you see God in every person?

Share psychic knowledge with each other. That is how you become one.

We are eternal. We are immutable.

I like meditation without seed. You are aware of the sounds and thoughts that come and go, but you don’t get involved with them.

Swami Google-ananda is the best guru of all. It answers all your questions before you can finish asking.

If you are not fire, you burn!

Do it because it must be done.

The most important prayer is to say thank you, even for the air you breathe.

Suffering is good.

How you eat and what you eat has a great effect on your future state of health.

Stop eating meat. That is yoga.

Pretend that you are already there: perfect. You are just trying to gather evidence.

Yoga without the Yamas is like spaghetti without the sauce.

Do all the postures very slowly, without pain or straining. Be nice to all.

Realization is as close to you as the breath is to itself. (Yogi Gupta)

Don’t eat turkey. Animals are friends, not food.

Be nice to your guests and to your pets, and don’t eat any turkey.

Be grateful to have this opportunity!

Everything returns in mysterious ways — it’s the Law of Karma.

If you don’t believe in God, at least believe in the forces.

When you are full of love, calm, serene and realize the Laws of Karma, all these doesn’t affect you much.

The head will pull all the energy from your feet, so don’t put your feet near someone’s head.

The Chakras are very intelligent. They are like the software of the whole computer body.

By controlling the breath, the mind also will be controlled.

Pleasure and pain are the mind and the senses.

Relaxation is the best antidote to impurities.

I like that Om symbol. You keep drawing that Om in darkness. You can get very detailed.

Keep your thoughts pure.

The purpose of meditation is to remove your doubts.

Your worst enemy is your own self when you are not under control.

Every time you have a chance, go within and do your meditation.

If you eat properly, you feel really great.

The purpose of life is to experience everything.

The core vibration is the same Om at the heart of everything.

The secret is to have firm, regular concentration on one thing.

To conserve energy, observe silence after the class.

Distinction does not exist. I am by nature formless. Man was made in His image: formless.

Most of the weight on the head (for Headstand).

Live the golden rule. Purify the heart. Lose the ego.

There are heavens in yoga called Lokas or planes. The moon or Chandra is one of the planes.

Beyond space, there is the Supreme Lord.

There will come a time when everything will disappear.

I like the mantras that are like devotional songs. The emotions turn into spiritual bliss.

You are the owner of your senses.

Everything is vibration and God is formless. He never changes; He is always there.

Do selfless work, and don’t even think about the spiritual benefits.

Start off the year with a plan to engage in good actions for you and for the world.

If all you do is to breathe, this, too, in fact is yoga.

Follow the teacher.

Everything is perfect. That is the beauty of yoga: to bring our consciousness to this level.

The Real Self does not need enlightenment. It is the cause of enlightenment.

Yogis are always content. They do their best, but they are not worried about the results.

You should practice relaxation every day

Your goal is Self Knowledge; your Guru is here (at the center of the chest).

Be receptive to the infinite wisdom and intuition within you.

The Supreme Teacher is within you. By constant attention to Him, you’ll be stuffed with bliss and joy.

When you pray, don’t ask for anything back.

Learn how to remain still, without any action during the Asanas.

In reality, everything is perfect.

Three times blessed are those that can copy the teacher physically, mentally and spiritually.

The Self is absolute intelligence beyond forms and name, beyond any change.

Love is infinite.

Intelligence itself can be perceived. That’s how you know you are not it.

I teach yoga because I think that it is a shortcut to enlightenment.

With practice, you’ll be able to hold your mind for a long time on one thing.

The Real, Real Self doesn’t need any enlightenment.

Make peace with those you have hurt in the past. Pay it mentally, or with mantras.

If you see yourself everywhere, that is a sign of Self-realization.

This is why you are doing the Bandhas – to force the energy (Kundalini) up.

Whatever you can perceive is not you. That is something else. You are the perceiver.

Be grateful to exist.

There are impurities at all levels

Before you go out to teach, straight yourself first. One blind leading another blind, they both fall off the cliff.

Get Self Knowledge.

The amount of happiness that you are experiencing right now is due to your previous actions.

All living beings fear violence.

Every morning, have a big glass of warm water with lemon to wash your stomach and your colon.

Your mind is going to be busy with the senses. Remain unconcerned.

Don’t keep guessing, adding things. You have to really listen.

Your body is like an iPhone. Everyone has it, it’s all there.

Rest your mind on the eternal Om.

Go beyond the fears and doubts.

Go into seclusion and rest your mind on the silence.

Follow something outside yourself to ensure you are on the path and not being led astray by the ego.

The secret to success is constant practice.

Do it because it has to be done and expect nothing.

Always remember that Nature refuses to be rushed. She can only be made to evolve, and that takes time, so take heart.

I am (sharing the yoga) because it’s the highest type of charity to share spiritual knowledge with others.

You can only go as far as you imagine.

I love you all: I am you and you are me.
